In comparison to other shelving units this one has more storage for less money. It was easy to assemble and is pretty durable. If you are only going to use the shelves for DVDs then you might end up with some decent size gaps between shelves due to the predrilled peg hole placement and the shelf that is in the center of the unit. I am using it to store a combination of DVDs, CDs, and Blu-rays which worked out perfectly with minimal wasted space.

This cabinet was everything the reviews I read said it was. Super easy assembly, good looking unit (girlfriend was even happy with the appearance, big plus!) Will probably order another soon to house my ever growing movie collection. Well worth the money!

I set mine up to use for CD's and audio cassettes. Starting from the top I have 3 rows for CD's but the space left on the forth row is taller that DVD's would fit in. I still put CD's on this row but it looks retarded with the extra space between the 3rd and 4th row.
It seems like they did put much thought in this item for those with larger music/movie collections as I have seen withh other shelves.
This thing is pretty sturdy though, once it is together and didn't take that long to put together.
